Description:

Phoenix Poems is a welcoming open mic evening celebrating poetry and the spoken word.

Hosted by the Phoenix Players, the event invites people of all ages to recite a favourite poem, perform an original piece of writing or simply come along to listen. Whether you’re an experienced performer or taking to the microphone for the first time, everyone is welcome.

The evening will feature poetry recitals, spoken word performances and original writing, with an interval providing time for performers and audience members to meet, exchange ideas and enjoy refreshments together.

Free and open to all, Phoenix Poems celebrates creativity, storytelling and the shared enjoyment of words.
