Performance of Patios de luz by Su Garrido Pombo

Instituto Cervantes Dublin
20:30 - 21:30
Booking required
All Ages

Description:

The Instituto Cervantes Dublin offers a concert open to all audiences and ages to enjoy Spanish culture in Ireland.

Su Garrido will offer an intimate and warm concert, accompanied by her guitar and effects pedal. Performing songs from her latest album, Patios de luz, Su Garrido explores “where the protagonists are the neighbours, the community, the common space, the emigration from the countryside to the city, the patios and the light. The back patios (Patios de luz) are the back parts, where the things that do not want to be shown are hidden, where the clothes are hung, they are not even painted, they are the opposite of the facades. The patios of light are our theatres.”

Su Garrido Pombo is a Galician singer-songwriter. Her style covers different genres including Trad or Folk. In Ireland, she has performed at Festivals such as Body and Soul and Mother Tongues Festival.

Capacity: 90
