Patching Tuam (Tuam)

Creative Places Tuam

Join local textile artist Kathy Ross to use techniques such as drawing and painting, collage, applique and hand and machine embroidery to create Patches which display your social, political and personal viewpoints and sense of place.
For two hours families can come and go from Tuam Town Hall to make their mark on the Patching Tuam project and see what else the Town has to offer on this wonderful night. Inspired by punk fashion, music iconography, and protest art, Patching Tuam aims to create a collaborative tapestry based on your views, experiences and interaction with the town of Tuam or “your patch”.
