Lees Road Wood

Passing on Poetry

Enter the door to Faeryland through poems and riddles in the wood: a live poetry and song performance  by the poet, Tony Maude, who will lead people through the poems hung round and about on the trees, accompanied by music and percussion.  A trail or theme leads from one poem to the other, guided through the experience by instructions or clues as to what comes next.  Poems old and new from the poet himself and from others such as Yeats, Shakespeare and Wordsworth.  Some surprises too! Includes and closes with a riddle competition with prizes of Tony Maude CD ‘Where Flowers Might Dwell’.
