Description:

On Culture Night, visitors will have the opportunity to join Parliamentary Ushers in a guided tour of the historic National Parliament building, where they will see both the Dáil and Seanad Chambers and learn about the history of this unique building.

Located in Dublin, in the heart of the South Georgian Quarter, Leinster House was designed and built in the mid-18th century by Richard Castle, the leading architect in Ireland for the Earl of Kildare, James Fitzgerald, the first Duke of Leinster. Later, it became the headquarters of the Royal Dublin Society before taking up its current position as the home of our National Parliament, comprising the two Houses of the Oireachtas, Dáil Éireann (the House of Representatives) and Seanad Éireann (the Senate).

Having recently undergone a major conservation and restoration project, Leinster House will have something for everyone, welcoming families and visitors young and old to enjoy a special evening of entertainment for Culture Night.
