Women on Women | WoW

Outlandish Theatre are a partner on Creative Europe small co-operations project Women on Women, with lead partner City of Women (Ljubljana), VoxFeminae (Zagreb) and Tiiiit!Inc. (Skopje)

WoW is a project by women on women – it addresses issues of gender equality in a diverse and multicultural Europe, through a historical and contemporary perspective. We are partnering with cultural organisations that have a track record of addressing gender equality and human rights within our cultural aims. OT Platform brings to the project their long-term experience working with diverse communities and audiences through participatory, socially-engaged and inclusive arts practices.

To date the Dublin activities have offered multiple intersectional and inter-community opportunities for the creation of art and the discussion of the (re)presentation of women in our public sphere and on stages including a one off performance as part of WoW Stories Love and Charity with twenty diverse performers, and ongoing workshops with WoW Group, a diverse inter-cultural group of eight women from the Robert Emmet CDP migrant programme and other women living in the Dublin 8 area.
