The ‘Wave Makers’ arts collective is a group of community minded creatives looking to address the lack of accessible, affordable arts facilities in the West Cork area. You are invited to take part in our open-air print-making workshop which will be held at the Bridge, Skibbereen. Please come along to meet with the Collective and hear our plans to ‘Make Waves’ by establishing a Co-working space and resource hub for West Cork creatives. Workshop participants will also be invited to create ‘A Postcard from Skibbereen’ expressing their vision for Skibbereen town.

We are currently conducting a needs analysis for Wave Makers Arts Hub: a communal, not for profit space in Skibbereen for West Cork based arts practitioners. We are looking to provide:
Affordable coworking space on a membership basis
Access to an inclusive community of like-minded people Access to specialist arts facilities (kilns, printing equipment)
Public access (gallery/ giftshop/ ‘meet the makers’)
Time: 4pm - 6pm
