Our Lungs Were (2021-2022)
9 minute film by Sheenagh Geoghegan

We have another short film (12min) showing at 8:45pm by local lass Sheenagh Geoghegan, "Our Lungs Were" :
“Let's face it. We're undone by each other. And if we're not, we're missing something.” is the opening line of this film. It is from Undoing Gender by Judith Butler. It's a line that I have loved for ages and it perfectly holds everything I wanted this film to hold. It's a film about feeling adrift, heartbroken and lost and it's a film about swimming in the freezing cold waters that surround this island of Ireland.
