Open Studios & Showcase

We invite audiences to visit our artists’ studios in our Churchfields premises on the evening of 22nd September 2023.

The Open Studios event aims to give visitors an insight into the workspace of the typical artist working in Galway in a designated visual art studio organization. Audiences will catch a glimpse behind the scenes of the artist studio and have the opportunity to meet with and chat to working artists to discuss their practice. Alongside this our Orbital members and other studio members who work in studios outside of our main premises will exhibit some of their most recent artworks and/or works in progress in our gallery space on site.
We will also be displaying some artwork of the children who participate in our regular art workshops as part of the showcase
