Description:

Don’t miss this opportunity to explore The Tower Museum with free access to all exhibits including the new and fabulous Derry Girls Experience.

The Tower Museum houses two permanent exhibitions as well as the fantastically popular Derry Girls Experience. "The Story of Derry" tells the colourful and dramatic history of the city from earliest prehistory to the present day. "An Armada Shipwreck - La Trinidad Valencera" tells the story of one of the largest ships in the Spanish Armada, La Trinidad Valencera, which sank off the Donegal Coast in 1588 and was rediscovered by divers from the City of Derry Sub-Aqua Club in 1971.

Located right in the heart of the city centre, Derry’s Tower Museum houses permanent exhibitions on the Story of Derry and the Armada shipwreck as well as diverse temporary exhibits, displays and special events. The museum spans over 5 floors and has a wonderful viewing area on the top floor, giving far reaching views over the city. All ages can enjoy the museum’s interactive Discovery Zone, exploring stories and activities to find out more about Archaeology, Dinosaurs, Early People, Colmcille, Woodlands and the Contemporary City.
