Open Evening: Irish Labour History Society Collections

The Irish Labour History Society are opening up their premises and collections to public visits this Culture Night 2023!

The Society is a non party-political charitable organisation that holds a unique collection of material relating to the history and heritage of Irish workers and their organisations, including the wider trade union movement. Items on display in the premises include trade union banners, an original Citizen Army uniform, election posters, photographs and ephemera. Items on display relate to a wide range of significant historical events, including the 1913 Lockout, 1916 Rising, the War of Indepence, the Civil War and the Spanish Civil War.
Volunteers from the Society will offer a free tour of the premises to all who come along.
