The Curragh Military Museum will open its doors late on Culture Night.

The Museum was recently renovated and celebrates the history of the Curragh Camp and its surroundings, the history of the Britsh Army on the Curragh from 1855-1922. The history of the Irish Defence Forces.

As part of the display visitors will find Eamonn Ceannt's uillean pipes, Chester Beatty's weapons collection and the Sliabh na mBan Rolls Royce 1920 armoured car which formed part of the escort for General Michael Collins which was ambushed on the 22nd of August 1922 at Béal na Bláth.
