Join us for an evening of music, song and more in both Irish and English in the beautiful setting of St. Matthew’s Church in Newtownmountkennedy. To kick off proceedings we have a few performers from our monthly Oíche Scoraíochta to play us a tune, sing us a song or perhaps even recite a poem or two. Our monthly Scoraíocht gives people from the local area a chance to show off their talents or perhaps to take their first steps into a world of creativity.

Culture Night presents our branch of Conradh na Gaeilge with a chance to show off two amazing local groups. The Hammonds, from up the road in Bray, will be playing some folk, trad and a bit of Leonard Cohen no doubt. They packed out the Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray, and their harmonies are a joy to behold. Also joining us on the night will be another fantastic Wicklow group, trad band Céilí Cottage who include a multi–All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil winner in their midst. Tugann Oíche Chultúir deis dár gcraobh de Chonradh na Gaeilge dhá ghrúpa iontacha a thaispeáint. Beidh na Hammonds, as Bré, ag seinm roinnt ceoil tíre, traidisiúnta agus beagán de Leonard Cohen gan amhras. Nuair a bhí siad ag seinm san Mermaid Arts Centre bhí sé plódaithe, agus ba mhór an pléisiúr é a bheith ag breathnú ar a gcuid comhcheol a cloisteáil.
