Description:

Forbairt na Dromoda presents a special Culture Night concert featuring Méabh Ní Bheaglaoich & Cuas. Rooted in the rich musical traditions of the Kerry Gaeltacht, the group brings together outstanding traditional musicians to perform a vibrant programme of Irish traditional music and song. This free community event celebrates the Irish language, local culture and the living musical heritage of Uíbh Ráthach, offering audiences an unforgettable evening of live performance in the heart of the Gaeltacht.

This event forms part of Cultúr 2026: Sharing Ireland’s Culture, the national cultural programme for Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and is supported by the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport through Culture Ireland.

Cuireann Forbairt na Dromoda ceolchoirm speisialta Oíche Chultúir i láthair ina mbeidh Méabh Ní Bheaglaoich & Cuas. Agus iad fréamhaithe i dtraidisiúin shaibhir cheoil Ghaeltacht Chiarraí, tugann an grúpa ceoltóirí traidisiúnta den scoth le chéile chun clár bríomhar de cheol agus d’amhránaíocht thraidisiúnta na hÉireann a léiriú. Déanann an t-imeacht pobail saor in aisce seo ceiliúradh ar an nGaeilge, cultúr na háite agus oidhreacht bheo cheoil Uíbh Ráthach, ag tairiscint oíche gan dearmad de thaibhiú beo i gcroílár na Gaeltachta don lucht féachana.

Tá an ócáid seo mar chuid de Chultúr 2026: Cultúr na hÉireann á Chomhroinnt, an clár cultúrtha náisiúnta do Uachtaránacht na hÉireann ar Chomhairle an Aontais Eorpaigh, agus tá sí á tacú ag an Roinn Cultúir, Cumarsáide agus Spóirt trí Chultúr Éireann.
