New Ross - Wexford

New Ross Library

We are delighted to announce that Baya the Storyteller will kick off Culture Night here in New Ross Library. Baya will treat the audience to stories with themes linked to Library Park such as The Salmon of Knowledge, St Mullin's Birth, and Isabelle de Clare's story.
Baya Salmon-Hawk learned the art of storytelling from her great grandmother in the French town of Marseille. She works as a storyteller all over Wexford bringing venues to life with her voice. From The Hook Lighthouse to the walls of Wexford Town, adults and children are entertained and sometimes startled by her tales.
Free and all are welcome.
