New North Festival of New Writing.

New North is a Culture Night Belfast event produced by Prime Cut across the Lyric Theatre.

It will premiere four readings of new plays by playwrights from across the
island of Ireland and feature a wealth of Northern Irish acting talent.

New North will be a celebration of a new generation of talent and highlight the North and in particular Belfast as the home of some of the most talented artists currently working in Theatre. The readings will culminate with an on-stage conversation with the participating artists chaired by Hugh
Odling Smee (Project Manager – Film Hub NI).
