Description:
Join the Co-Centre for Climate + Biodiversity + Water at Chartered Accountants Ireland, Pearse Street for the launch of a new piece of artwork exploring nature finance. Created by artist Aoife Banville, the piece is made entirely from natural found materials, moss and oak, which will be returned to nature once the installation ends.
The artwork is called ‘A Fine Balance’ and it brings to life a central finding of the Climate + Co-Centre’s research: that nature finance requires significant private and public investment, and that the benefits of this investment far outweigh the costs for society as a whole.
The installation will be in place throughout the week of the 14th September. Special guided tours of the artwork will be run on Culture Night, 18th September, at 17:30, 18:30 and 19:30.
