This exhibition celebrates the life and photographs of Christopher Robson, 1941-2013. Christopher Robson was many things in life – an architect, a trade union activist, a photographer – and he was gay, in an Ireland unlike the country we know today. In that Ireland, diversity was discouraged and homosexuality was illegal. Christopher worked for decades to win civil, legal, and social equality for LGBT+ people in Ireland. In this bilingual exhibition, we celebrate those photographs, and we celebrate Christopher Robson, an extraordinary man who lived with Pride.
