Virtual Tour: Proclaiming a Republic: The 1916 Rising

Online

Join for the premiere of a virtual tour of Proclaiming a Republic: The 1916 Rising’, an exhibition which was on display at the NMI –  Decorative Arts & History from 2016 to 2020. This film, featuring curators, educators and guides from the museum, provides an engaging, informative and thought-provoking look at this significant period in our history.

The exhibition, which formed a key element of the nation’s commemorations of the centenary of the Easter Rising, focused on the events leading up to and during Easter Week through objects, documents and photographs from the Museum’s Easter Week Collection.
