To celebrate their 125th birthday, the NMH will open its doors for the first time on Culture Night! Visit the historic Board Room, originally constructed as part of the Nurses Home. View the portrait of Sir Andrew Horne, Master from 1894-1923, who gave rise to the ‘House of Horne’ reference in James Joyce’s Ulysses. The building fronting onto Merrion Square first opened its doors in December 1934.
