Description:
Nás na Rí singers are an four part, community choir based in Naas. They have over 70 members and meet weekly to rehearse.
On Culture Night, they will hold an open rehearsal giving the public a window into how a choir works and learns new music. Visitors will be encouraged to join in singing so they can experience the fun and feeling of togetherness that is experienced when making music together.
The group has a wide repertoire, sung in many languages, ranging from choral works and sacred music, to modern works by Gjeilo and Whitacre, to pop songs arranged for choirs.
They are always on the lookout for new members so if you like what you see consider joining and become involved in the fulfilling and mindful pastime of singing, or just come along for the cultural experience and the fun!
