17:00 - 21:00 Exhibition
Free entry to Nano Nagle Place’s award-winning museum. See a preview of our brand new exhibition "Branching Out: Presentation Sisters 1775 - 1828". Harpist, Ruth McDonnel will play harp in our museum throughout the evening.

17:30 - 18:15 Talk
At the Heritage Lecture Theatre, Michael O’Donovan talks about his memories of the South Parish from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

18:00 - 20:00 Visit Nano’s Parlour
Pay a visit to Nano’s Parlour and meet Nano Nagle herself! Try on 18th Century costumes and learn all about Nano Nagle’s inspirational life in her own words!

18:30 - 19:30 Music Workshop
At the Heritage Lecture Theatre and Secret Garden, Cork Migrant Centre x Sauti Studios will facilitate a mini music workshop with young people sharing their voices through music and spoken word.

19:30 - 20:30 Concert
At the Heritage Lecture Theatre, “The Outfit” - a group of friends who began music sessions over Covid, will perform a concert of original songs plus some of your favourite covers accompanied by guitars, violin, harmonicas and ukulele.

20:00 -21:00 Interactive Performance
“Fishing for Dreams”, an interactive performance devised by Performer and Architect Carolina Erika Santos facilitated on Culture Night by Claudia Renzi. Members of the audience will be invited to pin their dreams of a more sustainable city to a line attached to the River so they can be together “Fishing for Dreams.”

All events on Culture Night in Nano Nagle Place are FREE and no registration is required.
