Musician and Storyteller Eoghan Burke in Athlone Library

The Aidan Heavey Library is delighted to be able to play host to musician Eoghan Burke as part of Westmeath Libraries programme of events for Culture Night 2023. As part of his set, Eoghan will be performing his first live performance of “When the Carnival returns” a new song he has written on Westmeath during the Civil War. This was commissioned by Westmeath Decade Of Centenaries for Westmeath County Council . All welcome to join us for music and song between 5.30pm and 6pm.
