The Purple House Choir invites you to an evening of music and singing, followed by refreshments in Purple House Cancer Support Centre in Bray. The Purple House Choir is a therapeutic singing group comprised of people who have been affected by cancer in some way. It is led by our musical director Joan Dempsey and accompanied by guitarist Martin Dodd. The choir was formed almost ten years ago now, by Veronica O’Leary, CEO of Purple House community-based cancer support centre. The choir will also be joined by special guests on the night. This is a casual singalong performance open to anyone who enjoys singing and music. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to sing and enjoy oneself. Booking is essential.
This event is supported by Wicklow Arts Office and funded by Creative Ireland.
