Award-winning Museum of Free Derry will host a ˜Personal Artefacts” talk focusing on Willie McKinney’s cine-camera from Bloody Sunday.
A keen filmmaker, Willie filmed many of the early marches in the city, including the march on Bloody Sunday. His film ran out just as paratroopers entered the Bogside. Willie was then shot dead in Glenfada Park. Both his cine-camera and its footage are on permanent exhibit at the museum.
