MTU Arts Office through the Create Le Chéile Arts Project Fund are delighted to host – "Midden Chronicles: KinShip Tentacular Thinking", an exhibition curated by artists Lennon Taylor at the James Barry Exhibition Centre, MTU Bishopstown Campus, Cork.
Drawn from their year-long KinShip project at Tramore Valley Park, this curated exhibition, including screenings, workshop, and artist talks explores the role that creative practitioners have in the ongoing conversation about climate action. Exhibition details on arts.cit.ie
For Culture Night 2023 KinShip Project will run a flag-making workshop with The Laboratory of Land Flags by artist Chelsea Canavan.
This workshop is for all ages and will involve designing and creating your own small flag to take home while contributing and co-creating a flag and its ritual for the Kinship Project.
Workshop spaces limited so booking required. Workshops will be 1 hour duration, at 2pm, 5pm & 7pm in the James Barry Exhibition Centre. Booking to be made available two weeks before Culture Night so see website arts.cit.ie and MTU Arts Office Instagram for booking details.
