Manresa’s Dollymount buildings are a response by architect Andy Devane (1917-2000) to the needs of the Irish Jesuits for a modern retreat house. Visitors are welcome to a 7.30pm talk by architectural historian Emma Gilleece, who will help visitors to appreciate these Dollymount buildings in the context of Devane’s oeuvre and in those of Irish and international twentieth-century architecture.
