Creative Places Enniscorthy invite you to join artist Mayumi Nakabayashi at the Temple Shannon Community Centre for a unique participatory artwork that invites the community to come together through creativity, reflection and connection.

Over the course of the evening Mayumi will co- create a flower of life geometry using tealight candles.

As the artwork takes shape, the act of lighting candles becomes a shared moment of consolation, commemoration, ritual, tending collective grief and holding our loved ones in our thoughts. Once the installation is complete, everyone is invited to gather around the artwork to share in music, dance, poetry and storytelling, creating a warm and welcoming celebration of community on Culture Night.
