Bringing Ireland’s early medieval heritage alive, we create replicas of medieval Irish bronze handbells. Inspired by the Early Christian heritage of the Iveragh peninsula, the bells will be made in a medieval metalwork setting. Experience ancient processes that connect contemporary art and local archaeology. This is a drop-in outdoor event, please dress according to the weather – in the event of very bad weather conditions we will do an iron bell making demonstration together with a talk about the bronze casting process inside the workshop
