Make Your Mark

A selection of the Craft Makers from Number 19 Craft and Design will host tables outside the store demonstrating various crafting techniques and all ages will be welcome to join in and create! In the event of bad weather, activity will be moved indoors.
The materials provided will be wool, leather, fabric, clay, watercolours, pencils, with possibly wood, copper and glass beads or similar.
‘Make your craft mark’ will encourage visitors and audience to engage in doing just that! Put a blob of paint on a page and see how it becomes a sky! Twist up some pure wool rovings and see how it becomes yarn, see how the crafter explores developing new things. Be inspired to take up a new hobby. Listen to maker stories from the artists at this wonderful collective in the heart of Derry City,
Families will enjoy sharing the activity and people on their own will enjoy the interaction, all ages welcome.
A drop – in event and participants may take their creations home.
