Local Speak

On Culture Night, come celebrate local poets and local people with an interest in poetry! It will take place on the beautiful grounds of the Acre Project, a community centre with an ethos that celebrates sustainability and creativity.
People are invited to share words that inspire or comfort them and the event will provide a platform for local poets and their work.
The cultural benefit and aim of this gathering is to create a community feeling of sensitivity and to promote strength in vulnerability.
The collection of spoken works will then feature on the Acre Project's new website and will open their centre to a new layer of creativity for their community.
