Listen & Sing with Bray Choral Society

Bray Choral Society

Founded in 1986, Bray Choral Society (BCS) delights in performing a broad range of choral works, from works by Handel, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Rossini and Vivaldi, to those of composers of the 21st Century such as John Rutter, Morten Lauridsen, Dan Forrest, Ola Gjeilo, Richard Blackford, Karl Jenkins and Howard Goodall. Frank Kelly is both the choir’s founder and Musical Director and John Kelly is our accompanist.

Bray Choral Society has regularly included other singers and the general public through open ‘Come and Sing’ rehearsals, followed by performances of the rehearsed works. These have proven very popular, the most recent being a rehearsal and performance of Karl Jenkins’ Armed Man, in Christchurch Bray.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Culture Night offering – a workshop / performance with our members in the body of the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray and our Musical Director leading and instructing from the altar. The workshop is designed for all comers and any necessary items (music, words etc.) will be supplied. Come along and join in or just come and listen. Good fun for all and you can sit on the comfortable new seats in the Church!
