Description:

Life Between Land and Sea is a short educational movie based on the intertidal zone. This unique part of Ireland hosts plants and animals that have adapted to be able to tolerate conditions endured by land biodiversity while thriving in a marine habitat. The film will start with a look at different tidal habitats, discussing some of the animals that use these areas and the challenges that environmental factors such as wind, rain and tide have on this unique set of habitats. Sand dunes and the plants that make them possible will be featured. This will be followed by an examination of the rocky shore.
