Join us for the launch of a Street Mural celebrating Ireland’s threatened Common Swift. Situated on the Gable wall of Gearoid Horan’s building, adjacent to Mountmellick Community School, Patrick Street, Mountmellick for the launch of a street mural celebrating the swift- a small migratory bird which arrives in Ireland to breed from Africa in May and departs by August each year. Mountmellick is a stronghold for this species. Event Supported by Creative Ireland Laois as part of the Creative Ireland Programme
