Join us at the museum for a night of creativity and learning! Fashion historian and presenter Laura Fitzachary of Seek the Historic will give a talk about the history of Kilkenny in medieval fashion and textiles, and then it’s your turn to get creative.

With the help of artists and museum staff, make your own square to add to our community project, Brigid’s Cloak of Dreams. You can use whatever materials you want to create a piece all your own to represent your hopes and dreams, the only limit is your imagination! Whether it is a solo project, or something the whole family works on, your pieces help create the fabric of Kilkenny.

The cloak you help create will be on display in the new Museum of Medieval Kilkenny when we open in 2027.
