Late browsing & live music at Marrowbone Books

Marrowbone Books

Marrowbone Books is a small second-hand bookshop in The Coombe (not on Marrowbone Lane). On Culture Night, the bookshop will be open late, and will host a programme of live music performances and readings kicking off around 6.30pm.

Sinéad Mercier, author of ’Men Who Eat Ringforts’, the hit art book about law and fairies, will lead us in a participatory re-telling of some classic Irish myths

Sisters Sinéad and Catríona Kennedy will play live traditional music from the southwest Donegal fiddle tradition. They learned their music from Donegal’s James Byrne and Ronan Galvin, as well as Antain MacGabhann from Co Meath.
