The ‘Know my name’; series presented for the Culture Night 2022 is a collection of 2d mixed media collages
that illustrate the collective beauty and strength of women. Through the use of rich, vibrant colours and flowers
as a symbol of unity, togetherness, love and hope. Ethereal and light saturated images are a reminder of one
poets words, “both the woman and the flower have their days, they are not years” (Jan Sztaudynger), These
pieces are a tribute to women and came directly from the viewpoint that every woman, as a flower whispers
“beauty” to the world, and the passing of time is not gonna change it.
This exhibition will run from the 17th – 27th of September.
