The name Bofield in Irish is Gort na mBó, which means the cattle field, and Brigid as a patron of agriculture and poetry will be smiling on this unique collaborative performance. Come and experience the energy and the joy of the best of trad and the best of poetry, including insights into the world-renowned Jackie Clarke Repository, and the acclaimed anthology Vital Signs: Poems of Illness and Healing, edited by Martin Dyar, and all crowned with a performance by Atlantic Rhythm School of Dance who will present a troupe of exciting young local talent, schooled by Sheila Moffatt. Spring might be a little way off, but this Culture Night we'll begin the journey in fine style together.
