Irish Girl Guides Resource Centre

A Cuppa, Chat and a Guiding Tour

The Irish Girl Guides are an organisation steeped in history and run by enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to ‘give girls confidence’ by teaching life skills, engaging with the community, both local and global and having a lot of fun.

On Culture Night, we invite visitors to come and meet us for a cuppa and a chat, at the Irish Girl Guides Resource Centre in Lower Glanmire Road. The Centre will be open from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Not only will you be able to meet Irish Girl Guides at their regional centre, you can then take part in a guiding trail which will bring you to some of the most iconic cultural centres in the City, including City Hall, City Library, Hollyhill Library and the Crawford Gallery. Take on the challenge of delivering your secret message to the next post and enjoy some fun, cultural and guiding activities when you arrive at your destination.
