Walk Through The Pearse Family Home

Offline

Explore Padraig Pearse’s family home, and learn about the building’s deep connections to the Easter Rising and Ireland’s struggle for independence. The house is now used mostly as an art gallery and theatre and will be open for visitors for the evening, with work from Jennifer Hart’s SEQUENTIAL FLOW on display.

Jennifer’s art embodies figurative, landscape and still life images. She translates her observations of the world around her into pure colour and spontaneous realism. SEQUENTIAL FLOW is based on following the lines of nature and man. The cityscapes strip back the buildings to form lines and solid blocks of colour that influence how we see them in our environment. The seascapes endorse nature’s natural lines, creating a constant flow and movement.

Hart graduated with a BA in Fashion Textile Design from NCAD and later received a BA in Interior Design from Chelsea College of Art. She has exhibited in Secaucus, New Jersey, Chicago and Chester Art Fair. She has also showcased her work at Art Source, RDS Dublin since 2012. She lives and works in Dublin.
