Táthú Coalescence

Offline

Táthú Coalescence created especially for Culture Night 2021 is a unique collaboration between Iontas Arts Centre and six creative practitioners lead by Jamie Bishop (BISHOPSKI), Iontas Musician in Residence 2021.

Jamie Bishop (composer/producer/piano), Caoimhe Hopkinson (guitar/fiddle) Darren Brannigan (drums) Daniel Aherne (bass) will present three original music compositions set to the work from local visual artists KOOF, Siobhan Conyngham, and Patrick Conyngham.

Audiences will experience a unique and immersive theatrical performance where sound and visual space converge performed on a beautifully lit theatre stage.  ‘Táthú’ represents the ‘coalescence’ of two mediums, and how one art form can inform another.

A limited capacity event, open to everyone. Prebooking is essential. The in-person live event will take place in the theatre.  This will be a socially distanced, seated event.
