Westmeath Arts Office is delighted to announce Imagining Common Grounds, a special Culture Night 2026 event that marks the official launch of both this year’s Culture Night programme and Westmeath’s contribution to Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Patrick Heffernan will be performing at Imagining Common Grounds in Market Square, Mullingar from 5.30pm-6pm.

Patrick Heffernan is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-song writer from Westmeath. His songs are inspired by life, death, his ancestral lineage and the land we come from. He views his songs as a way to help people connect with where we’ve come from collectively and celebrate where we are now together.
