Come and enjoy a session of relaxed, inclusive music-making with the Cork Community Gamelan – a collection of Javanese metallophones and gongs, at Hollyhill Library.
Participants will be introduced to the different instruments of the ensemble in these friendly, hands-on workshops and will learn to play short pieces of traditional Javanese music and to explore new compositions through improvisation.
