HOLDING GROUND / KATE ORAM, CONOR O’CONNELL & MARITA O’HANLON

CURATED BY LAURA MAHON

As part of Roscommon Arts Centre’s 25th anniversary celebrations, Holding Ground brings together three artists connected to Roscommon whose work explores the many ways landscape holds memory, history and lived experience.

Through sculpture and painting, Kate Oram, Conor O’Connell and Marita O’Hanlon each approach place from a distinct perspective, considering archaeology, ecology and personal experience. Together, their work invites audiences to reflect on the landscapes that shape us and the traces we leave behind.
