The Powerscourt Townhouse Centre is back for a series of tours of Lord Powerscourt’s beautiful and historical Townhouse. Though the townhouse has been transformed into an elegant shopping centre, the stunning Georgian architecture is preserved. Allow yourself to be transported back to the eighteenth century with this incredible tour, which starts in the Kitchens and ends in the Ballroom. This beautiful building was formerly home to Richard Wingfield 3rd Viscount Powerscourt (1730-1788) and his wife Lady Amelia, who bought the Townhouse to entertain guests during Parliament season. Back then, the building was a house for parties, which greatly lives up to that reputation nowadays!
We will have two tours hour-long tours on the evening at 5.30pm & 6.30pm. The meeting point will be the steps outside on South William Street
