Irish photographer JP Keating has conceived and developed a new community photography project, bringing together members of the Riverchapel Ladies Club and Asylum Seekers living at the Courtown Hotel IPAS Centre. The resulting exhibition,” Here, Together. ” opens at 6pm on Friday, 18 September at Christ Church Old School, Gorey, as part of Culture Night 2026. Here, Together. creates a welcoming and informal space in which participants and members of the public can meet, experience the work and consider the connections that can exist between people whose lives may initially appear disparate.

The  exhibition combines photographs created by the participants with Keating’s portraits and documentary work. It explores themes including home, belonging, vulnerability and routine, while drawing attention to both the similarities and contrasts between the participants’ experiences.   The project was conceived, developed and artistically led by JP Keating, with support from Creative Ireland , Wexford County Council Local Authority Integration Team and Age Friendly Wexford.
