Completed in 1704, The Royal Barracks, now Collins Barracks, was an army base for almost 300 years before being renovated for use as the National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History.

Join Museum educators for Hands-on History: From Barracks to Museum, an interactive handling session with objects from the Museum’s handling collection that explore the history of this 300-year old barracks, and the collections it houses.

This drop-in session takes place over two hours. Join at any time and stay for as long as you like!
