Come along for a special late night opening of the GPO Museum. Visit the museum that brings you on a journey through the lead up to the 1916 Rising, the events of that week & the aftermath. Learn about the Anglo-Irish Treaty & the Civil War that followed its passing in the Dáil. Explore the story of this revolutionary period of Irish history from those who witnessed it from different social, political & cultural viewpoints. Their stories are brought to life through over 100 artefacts, many of them personal items from people whose lives were changed forever by these events. Experience the immersive film that brings you into the heart of the action at the the GPO during Easter week 1916.
