Who’s in Your Book? Diversity in Children’s Stories

Offline

The books we read as children shape our worldview. It is important for children to be able to recognize themselves in illustrations and narratives, but to also learn about the different realities of life for children around the world. Storyteller Simone Schümmelfeder introduces new children’s books from Germany & Ireland and discusses them with children. The young audience is invited to develop and share their ideas of diversity in stories.
