Description:

Come along to German Taster Classes offered by Goethe-Institut Irland especially for Culture Night Dublin 2026. At one of these 30-minute sessions, Culture Night visitors can start their journey learning another European language, and gain insight into Goethe-Institut Irland’s classroom setup and teaching methods. Friendly staff will be on hand to provide a brief overview of Goethe-Institut Irland’s German language courses and exams as well as answering questions about the language programme and educational projects.

Suitable for beginners. Two drop-in sessions will take place on Culture Night, at 18:00 and 19:00.

This event is part of the European Culture Trail – a EUNIC Ireland (European Union National Institutes for Culture) in cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Ireland. There is a wheelchair accessible lift at the front of the building which enables wheelchair users to access the classrooms where the German Taster Classes will take place. The library is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
